There will be a limited number of loaves available each day to ensure the freshness and quality of our bread. Orders are first come, first serve!

Local Dough is a home operation. Pickup only! Due to an increase in demand, we are no longer able to deliver.

Local Dough was founded in 2022 by Kelsey Clary and Nate Hazen. Baking is our passion, so we created our own special sourdough recipe to share with our friends and family. Shortly after, we decided to turn our dream into a reality and share our sourdough with our community here in Charleston, South Carolina. So yes, our dough is LOCAL!

We come from families with many digestive issues such as chronic IBS, Crohn’s Disease, colon cancer, etc. We wanted to create a healthy way for our family to enjoy bread without feeling any sort of pain. So, we did! Did you know that sourdough is easier for your body to digest than other types of bread? This is because sourdough is a great source of fiber, acts as a natural prebiotic, and tends to be lower in gluten than other types of bread. Specifically, our sourdough is allergy friendly, Non-GMO, and only uses high quality natural ingredients.

For the time being, we are a home-based bakery! In order to ensure the quality of our sourdough, we must limit the amount of bread that we bake daily.
