We’d love to introduce ourselves! My name is Kelsey and this is my fiancé, Nate. We live in Charleston, South Carolina and are getting married in the fall of 2023. We are the proud owners of Local Dough and are so excited to share our love for sourdough with you! If you know me, you know that cooking is my passion. I love to cook, I love to bake, and more importantly I love to eat… especially BREAD!

However, I struggle with severe IBS and have family history of Crohn’s disease and colon cancer. All of which, led me to sourdough! Sourdough is the one type of bread that does not cause my body any sort of discomfort. It is full of fiber and natural prebiotics that allow my body to process it without bloating, pain, etc. There are many reasons why I love sourdough, but this is by far my favorite. Sourdough has drastically changed our lives and I hope it will change yours too!
